Than is just a few seconds away from Hoang Van Thu Bridge, which is perfect for a nice morning or sunset walk. The room is very new, clean, and fully furnished. The only downside is that there is just a curtain separating the bathroom from the rest of the room, so privacy may be a bit limited. There is no elevator, but the stairs are easy to climb, and the staff are happy to help with your luggage. I also tried the soursop tea at the café downstairs, and it was AMAZING. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely give it a 10/10!

Great stay, friendly staff, and an awesome board game collection

My second attempt to review. The first attempt ended up in my profile but not on the Thân Coffee and Homestay page. The host Trang is kind and considerate. She went out of her way to help me when I arrived late in the evening. The hostel facilities are good. The dormitory shares the fourth floor with a spacious kitchen/eating area with a fine view. The dorms have it all: aircon, wifi, privacy curtains, charging sockets and reading lights. A plus is that the toilet and shower are separate - no wet toilet floor. However the toilet is cramped and the temperature control of the shower is tricky - it's hard to find the sweet spot between cold and scalding hot. There is a pleasant cafe downstairs. Buses for Cat Ba leave from across the street.
