리셉션이 친절했습니다.

We booked rooms for 1 night only, but faced multiple problems.
1. They rent bikes till midnight only! But nobody told us that information. And the next day in the early morning (7.40 am) I got a message from a reception with "if you keep bikes now we are going to charge you for one more day". Day before I asked at reception "should we bring bikes back before chekout" and answer was OK! So remember that you have to bring it till midnight, if you rent for 1 day only. Otherwise they tell you that you rent for more than 1 day! And probably no one is going to say you this information before.
2. I paid all the prices online, but at checkout they asked me to pay by cash... So actually it was kinda annoying, cause we waited for a taxi, but i had to explain that I already paid online.
3. So there were few little mistakes/misunderstandings. For example my friends ordered breakfast while check-in, but tomorrow morning stuff said "you didn't order breakfast" and stuff like that. Small problems, but it was a lot of them

But my room was nice, clean and with a perfect view.
The area is quiet and calm, but not much food around, you have to drive/walk for it.

We stayed in Hue as a stop over location for 1 night. Staff were lovely and kind, allowing us to leave our bags and use the pool before check in. The rooms had air conditioning and a fan. We had motorbikes therefore it was easy to get around however it may take a bit longer by walking. We enjoyed our stay at Orchid Riverside Villas. Thank you for having us!

Excellent hotel, the room was clean, modern, great bathroom and a massive room. The staff were very helpful and great for booking trips. The female receptionist has good english and was very attentive and even walked us to the trip pick up point.The food is limited but good and a reasonable price. The only slight drawback is the location, which is at the end of a long road over the river and about 20 mins walk to the centre. If on a budget (and dont mind walking) we would highly recommend this place. We stayed here for 2 weeks, sometimes other guests were a bit noisy, not a major issue as most guests stay for a few nights.

The gentleman working on the front desk was kind, helpful, informative, attentive and spoke very good English. They have bicycles you can use for free. He gave us information on what to do for Christmas. Unfortunately everything else is a total disaster and it absolutely does not look like the pictures. The beautiful pool that we booked the hotel for was abandoned and closed which we were not told about when booking. The hot water only heats up when your key is in your room and takes about an hour, so coming back from a long day in the rain and cold on a motorbike, you can't just have a shower, you have to stand in your room muddy, cold, dirty and tired. After an hour of heating the water up, it lasted 2 minutes so only one of us got a hot shower. The sink leaked onto the floor when you used a tap, we mentioned this and demonstrated it pouring onto the floor but he wasn't interested. There's a huge gap under the outside door so the outside temperature is essentially what your inside temperature will be. For us this was 14 degrees. The staff smoke inside the hotel downstairs. This makes its way upstairs and into your room and it stinks. The hotel is in a residential back street. It's incredibly noisy with karaoke and parties. Dogs will aggressively bark at you as you try and navigate back to your hotel. We cancelled the rest of our stay and left immediately the next morning.

Amazing hotel! Large & very clean room, Very friendly staff, really calm & pleasant position, food is ok, the price is really reasonable, AND a wonderful swimming pool !! This is a perfect place to having a rest after a touristic day. Best Huế hotel ever !!
