We loved our stay at Hotel Ani! It is in a lovely quiet setting, about 5 minutes from the beach.
It has lovely pool and lounge area.
The breakfast was excellent and had many vegan choices upon request.
The spa was booked for the 4 of us and had a nice sauna and hot tub.
The staff were very helpful in booking us tours to Brac and to the Skywalk.
We would highly recommend this hotel.

Chose this hotel due to previous reviews which were very complementary. Could not have been more pleased with our choice. Set in a quiet location a couple of (steepish) streets back from the seafront promenade and beach. The staff are a credit to the hotel. Friendly, efficient and very helpful. We were very lucky to have an upgrade to a beautiful corner suite with sea and mountain views.The room was superb with both bath and shower, a lounge area and tv in both lounge and bedroom.There is a chemist and supermarket within 100 yards, great for snacks,or medical urgencies. Breakfast is organic and all we could wish for. Probably about 1 km walk into makarska harbour along a very accessible promanade lined with gorgeous views. Would reccommend Hotel Ani in a heartbeat.

Fabulous hotel the reception staff are excellent so friendly and helpful, a credit to the hotel. Good location very near the beach/bars/restaurants/shops. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill, wasn't a problem for us though. We had a fabulous room with everything you need air-conditioning, fridge, safe,free WiFi......and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was good with freshly made eggs: omelette, fried, poached, boiled or scrambled served in a lovely dining room next to the pool area. Would easily recommend this hotel.

Location of this was fantastic. Maybe 200 yards from the beach. The room was great...well designed and clean. Breakfast was a plus.

A lovely boutique hotel that is away from the busy areas but easy walking distance to beach and old town. Rooms are spacious with great views. Hotel is immaculate and the staff are so welcoming and friendly.

My wife and I are seasoned travellers to Croatia having visited different areas four times. This little hotel is up there with the best of them! Why? Well it is the small things that they do ever so well. It is the attention to detail that the hard working staff give whilst you are staying with them. A happy ‘Good Morning’ as you come down for breakfast, an ‘Enjoy your evening’ as you go out for a meal! ‘Welcome back’ when you walk through the door! It is the getting your room cleaned whilst you are down for breakfast. It is the cleanliness of the hotel and the well attended areas. The quality of the breakfast and the service that goes with it! The rooms are modern and spacious and well equipped. The hotel location is great too. The small pool area and sun-beds cannot accommodate all 18 rooms but the area is very nice! 100m downhill and the beach is upon you. Be warned though as finding an area to chill out can be quite a challenge! The Old Town and its restaurants are only a nice 10minute walk away. This is somewhere that you have to visit if you are staying in Makarska. We loved our stay at Hotel Ani and we would 100% recommend it to all couples wanting a really nice stay! Da iawn pawb!
