Great place to stay in Hoi An if you don’t like to be surrounded by all the tourists all the time (take 25-35 min to walk into the Old Town). Lovely hostel family with genuin interest in giving you the best experience. The beds might be a little hard for some people, but I slept fine the days I was there - Would highly recommend this place!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights, and we loved it! The owner and his family are so very nice and hospitable. Someday if I visit Vietnam again, I’d absolutely love to stay with them again. It’s not far from Old Town, which I’d recommend visiting at night! Very fun. We also borrowed a couple of the owners bikes! We rode to the rice fields to see water buffalo and watch the sunset. I’d definitely recommend the Almond Villa as a place to stay!

I stayed in the almond villa with my two friends, while backing through Vietnam, for two nights, and the staff were definitely the sweetest people we have met on the entire trip! They were very welcoming and big hearted, and helped us with everything we could imagine! We were sick with food poisoning just before we stayed here, so the family made food for us, helped us with transport in the city, and made sure we got clothes tailored within the little time we stayed there. The rooms were also very nice and clean, and we really enjoyed staying here. Will definitely be coming back. Can only recommend staying at the almond villa.

Let me tell you how incredible people can be! We arrived at Almond Villa very early in the morning, and very tired. But we were greeted with such happy, open arms by owners Mr Cuu and Mrs Thu, and as it was my birthday, my partner had been thoughtful enough to let them know ahead of time. I was then gifted cake, and flowers - and the other guests there having breakfast were really kind to make sure I celebrated my birthday morning surrounded by so much warmth. I appreciate that this is a very specfic example, but I feel it really shows the kindness and vibe of both the owners and type of guests at Almond Villa. We had such a great time celebrating Tet and felt very included, and part of the family for this special new year celebration. The rooms were very clean, and spacious, and the breakfasts were really tasty. We are very grateful to Mr Cuu and Mrs Thu, and would definitely stay with them again!
